Who is Dupree Christoph

Moving forward I would also love to be known as Dupree Christoph as well as WordSpit the ILLest. I feel like i've grown since being WordSpit The ILLest and I don't know if that captures everything that I do at the moment. Even tho, I'm not ready to do away with my primary monarchy, I would love to have the flexibility to move between both names. 

I really don't want to draw this post out. I just wanted to state that.

AWWW man, been having such a great month of pure energy.  I'm so excited to present to you our  BRIC TV performance. I love the way this came out. I have a few issues like I should of had a belt on and some of the instruments are a little low in the mix but stuff happens during a live performance. The camera work is A1. The Host Queen God is was amazing and didn't take it easy on me. She was such a unicorn and you know how I love Unicorns.  Check the link below.

My NIgga Hot97 x Fox Five Interview

Recently, Had the pleasure of sitting down with Lisa Evers for Hot 9'7 and Fox news to discuss the cultural relevance of the word N*GGer Vs N*GGA, who and who shouldn't use it.
The segment aired last Friday on Fox News and then aired on Hot 9'7 on Sunday. 

This has always been such a touchy topic that comes up and is met with mixed emotions. We all know the origins of the word and the evolution of the usage in black culture. I hope you will find this discussion informative and enlightening.

I struggle with my own conflict of religion.

I believe in spiritually, god, the natural force of the universe that combines us all as we intertwine with our daily plights. But I don't believe in the division that religion tends to cause, so I stray from religious sects.

I was born to a family of Christians.

I grew up as a young child with my grandmother, (god bless Everlyna White), and lived out my teen life with my mother. I was given two fathers: One who raised me since a child when he  didn't have to; and the other-- absent from my life  due to jail (or what ever story he gave me), who found god, Allah, a divine calling to be righteous. So I've been around the notion of religion all my life.

The concept of "City Of  God" was to show the natural conflict that us, as human beings, deal with when it comes to our relationship with religion and  god. It deal' with two very real perspectives that occur in everyday society: losing faith and restoring it.

Shout out to Dirty Souf Yankee for helping with this idea as well as shooting and revising my thoughts.
